Bali SPA – a wellness website with online booking and a review system

A modern wellness website featuring online booking, a customer portal and a smart review system. Available in three languages: German, French and English.

Challenge

The Bali SPA massage spa in Ipsach needed a professional online presence that not only looked good but also made day-to-day operations easier. Customers should be able to book appointments around the clock without having to call. In addition, they needed a system that actively collects Google reviews – because for local service providers, reviews are worth their weight in gold.

Solution

I have developed a modern, inviting website that reflects the Balinese atmosphere of the spa:

  • Modern website built with Bricks Builder
  • Online booking with LatePoint
  • Customer portal for existing customers (appointment overview, rebooking)
  • Automatic appointment reminders via email
  • Smart review system: after each appointment, customers receive an email requesting a review
  • For 4–5 stars: Thank you + link to Google Reviews
  • For fewer stars: Request for suggestions for improvement (internal)
  • Clear price list and service descriptions
  • Trilingual (DE/FR/EN) with WPML
  • Gift card page
  • Design of promotional flyers (Canva)

Results

Customers can book appointments 24/7 – the owner saves time and no longer misses any enquiries. The review system has significantly boosted Google reviews, whilst negative feedback remains internal and is used to drive improvements.

What our customers say about us

I am incredibly grateful to webdev4u for their support and the tools they have provided me with. The online booking feature has enabled my clients to book appointments at any time, even when I’m attending a German class or otherwise occupied. This has led to a steady increase in new clients who appreciate the simple and hassle-free booking process. As someone who isn’t particularly well-versed in internet technologies and is rather shy by nature, the automation of review requests has been a huge relief for me. It’s fantastic that the system automatically asks for reviews, so I don’t have to feel awkward about doing this in person.

Project Highlights

  • LatePoint booking system with customer portal

Customers book appointments online, manage their bookings and receive automatic reminders.

For a small wellness business, being available by phone can be a challenge – especially during treatments. The solution: a comprehensive online booking system.

    With LatePoint, I have implemented:

    • Online appointment booking: customers select service, date and time
    • Customer portal: Overview of all appointments, option to reschedule or cancel
    • Automatic emails: booking confirmation and appointment reminders
    • Calendar integration: synchronisation with the owner’s calendar
    • Service categories: massages, body treatments, facials, spa programmes
    • Pricing: Various durations (60/90/120 mins) with different prices

The system has been running smoothly since its launch and has fully digitised appointment management.

  • Automated rating system with filter logic

After each appointment, customers are asked to leave a review – positive reviews are forwarded to Google, whilst critical reviews are dealt with internally.

Google reviews are crucial for local service providers. But how do you get more of them – without coming across as pushy?

The solution is a two-step system:

    Step 1: Internal review request

    • One day after the appointment, the customer automatically receives an email
    • A friendly request for feedback with a simple star rating form (WS Form)

    Step 2: Smart redirection

    • 4–5 stars: Thank-you message + direct link to Google Reviews
    • 1–3 stars: Apology + request for specific suggestions for improvement (remains internal)

    Result:

    • More positive Google reviews
    • Critical feedback reaches the owner directly
    • Customers feel heard
    • Public image is protected
  • Promotional leaflets for local marketing

Design of printed materials to match the website for local advertising.

In addition to the website, Bali SPA also needed printed materials for local advertising – displays in shops, leaflets for letterboxes, etc.

Using Canva, I designed flyers that:

    • Reflect the colour scheme and atmosphere of the website
    • Showcase the key services and prices
    • Include contact details and a QR code for online booking
    • Look professional, but stay within the small budget

This created a consistent brand image – both online and offline.
